“After the years and years of weaker and waterier imitations, we now find ourselves rejecting the very notion of a holy stage. It is not the fault of the holy that it has become a middle-class weapon to keep the children good.” Peter Brook – The Empty Space

This from the Toronto Star on voter turnout:
"Turnout appeared to be lower this year in Toronto than in 2003, with almost 100,000 fewer people voting for mayor.
"Last time, 692,057 cast ballots for mayor, but this year, with all but one poll reporting, 583,972 voted for mayor."
Thoughts?
